Application Description

OPCSimSvr is an ideal tool for testing and verification of OPC Client designs. Operating as an OPC Server application, OPCSimSvr, supports all Required OPC Version 1.0 Interfaces and allows you to configure various data points to be accessed by any compliant OPC Client application. (NOW UPDATED TO SUPPORT OPC DATA ACCESS 2.0). Multiple clients and multiple groups are supported. Simulated data points may be automatically changed based on a clock timer to provide a 'live' data input for Client representation. A unique feature of OPCSimSvr is its interface logging capability which tracks and displays all calls made to the OPC Interfaces. This includes each AddRef() and Release() call to help isolate memory leak problems in Client designs.
